2. Information we process
Local game progress & telemetry
Black Box: Air Crash Report is built with an offline-first architecture. Your case progression, unlocked investigation files, forensic tool preferences, and scores are stored locally on your device.
No mandatory user registration
You can investigate cases, review Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) audio, inspect telemetry, and deliberate verdicts without registering an account or submitting personal identifying information.
Multiplayer & deliberation sessions
When participating in collaborative investigation or deliberation rooms, ephemeral room codes and session tokens are used to synchronize state between participants. No persistent personal communication records or chat logs are retained after the session closes.
In-app purchases
All in-app purchases and unlocks are processed directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Opalin Ai does not receive, process, or store your credit card or financial account numbers.
Diagnostics
To improve flight investigation stability, non-identifying technical diagnostic metrics (such as device model, OS version, and stack traces) may be collected during crashes if enabled in your device settings.
3. Third-party services
The application interacts with platform providers strictly necessary for gameplay distribution:
- Apple App Store / Google Play: Transaction verification and build distribution.
We do not sell, rent, or trade user data to third-party data brokers or behavioral advertising networks.
4. Data retention and deletion
Because your primary game data resides locally on your device, deleting the application permanently erases all local case files, audio cache, and investigation logs. You may also reset your bureau profile directly from the in-game Settings menu.
5. Children's privacy
Black Box: Air Crash Report does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe such data has been inadvertently collected, please contact us for immediate deletion.
